Admission and Registration Criteria for English Medium Instructed Graduate Programs
Thank you for your interest in the Graduate English Programs at the Modern College of Business and Science (MCBS). We strive to provide a high-quality education and a supportive learning environment for our postgraduate students.
To ensure a smooth admission and registration process, please review the following criteria:
1. Eligibility Requirements:
- Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution.
- The minimum required GPA for admission is 2.5 on a 4.0 scale or its equivalent if the GPA is 2.0 – 2.49 require to Study 3- 4 bridging courses.
- IELTS (academic) 6.0 or TOEFL 550
Note
Some programs may have additional specific requirements, such as work experience or bridging courses. Please refer to the program-specific information for detailed requirements.
Application Procedure
- Complete the application form.
- Submit all required supporting documents, including official transcripts, degree certificates, CV with 3 references and any other program-specific requirements.
- Pay the non-refundable application fee as specified in the application guidelines.
Admission Decision
- Once your application is submitted, it will be reviewed by the respective department or program committee.
- Admission decisions are based on a holistic evaluation of the applicant’s academic background, relevant work experience and any other program-specific criteria.
- You will be notified of the admission decision via email or through phone call.
Registration Procedure
- Upon receiving the admission offer, you will be provided with detailed information on the registration process and deadlines.
- Pay the required registration fees within the specified timeframe to secure your place in the program.
- Attend the designated orientation sessions and complete any necessary paperwork.
- Students will be registered for their courses by the registration officer.
